These piston packages include   several features engineered into them to provide you with performance and reliability.   Contact reduction grooves that are designed to disrupt detonation waves. Accumulator   grooves that collect residual gasses during combustion and alleviate top ring flutter while   increasing ring seal. Constant pressure grooves that equalize pressure to the back of the   top ring groove. Radius domes that are developed to maximize quench and to eliminate   the possibility of hot spots which promote detonation. Not all connecting rods are manufactured equally. There are several key points that separate   properly designed and manufactured connecting rods from their inferior counterparts.   Ranging from the materials used, the heat treating process, the overall design, and tolerances.   Our relationships with manufacturers has allowed us to custom tailor connecting rods   to our specifications, ensuring that these connecting rods will be capable of withstanding the   forces exerted on them without fracturing. In the event of failure, these connecting rods will bend   and not fracture, which is quite favorable in terms of potential failure characteristics. We offer several upgrade options for those aspiring to achieve higher horsepower and torque   levels. Standard fasteners for these connecting rods are ARP2000 however we offer the   option of an L19 upgrade.
